Media Day 2008


  • Workshop Description

    The Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center on the OSU campus in Stillwater will hold its fourth annual Media Day on July 10 from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in 201 FAPC. Oklahoma media, food and agricultural industry representatives, and Oklahoma legislature are invited to attend this event to learn about the FAPC and visit with center faculty, staff, students, and clients.

    Gary Shutt, OSU Director of Communications, will moderate the day’s events. The event will feature the Industry Advisory Committee, a 16-member committee composed of Oklahoma agricultural and business leaders. They are appointed by the highest positions of the Oklahoma state government and serve as an advisory board for the FAPC. The Oklahoma State Legislature established the Industry Advisory Committee in Oklahoma Statute 2-5-60.

    Each Industry Advisory Committee member will host a booth about their company and participate in a panel discussion. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to view three round-robin demonstrations of projects performed at the FAPC.
