Media Day


Workshop Description

The Robert M. Kerr Food & Agricultural Products Center on the OSU campus in Stillwater invites Oklahoma media, food and agricultural industry representatives, and Oklahoma legislature to attend this event to learn about the FAPC and visit with center faculty, staff, students, and clients.

     

2010 Media Day:

    Gary Shutt, OSU Director of Communications, moderated the day’s events. The event featured the Industry Advisory Committee, a 16-member committee composed of Oklahoma agricultural and business leaders. They are appointed by the highest positions of the Oklahoma state government and serve as an advisory board for the FAPC. The Oklahoma State Legislature established the Industry Advisory Committee in Oklahoma Statute 2-5-60.

    Each Industry Advisory Committee member hosted a booth about their company and participated in a panel discussion. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to view three round-robin demonstrations of projects performed at the FAPC.
