- Benefits Payable
- How the Workers’ Compensation System and Court Work

“It is very important for companies to know and understand how workers’ compensation law and Senate Bill 1X will affect their businesses,” said Vicke’ Adams, small business management coordinator for Meridian Technology Center.
The workshop will be led by Gerri Mooney, Workers’ Compensation Court counselor.
Chuck Willoughby, FAPC business planning and marketing specialist, said this workshop will be of great value to many of FAPC new and existing start-up food companies.
“As we have stressed many times in our Basic Training workshop, adequate business planning to include learning as much as possible about the many facets of owning a small business can only save a business money in the long run – only help to make sound decisions,” Willoughby said.
Further information and online registration are available at meridian-technology.com/cbd/owcc.asp or by calling (405) 377-2220.
The fee is $10, which covers materials and refreshments. Space is limited and advanced registration is required.
